Founded in 1982, our Society represents healthcare executive secretaries and administrative professionals from Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities across Alabama, and is a Member of the Alabama Hospital Association. The purpose of the Society is to promote the understanding and support of healthcare organizations and their services through the stimulation of professional secretarial methods, inside and outside the institution, and increase the levels of knowledge and standards in healthcare administration. The objectives of the Society is to initiate and foster programs and activities to fulfill the purpose by providing for an exchange of information, techniques and ideas, conducting educational programs, and encouraging and assisting individual members to raise standards, develop their knowledge, and increase their competency.
